Work experience

Coming from an agricultural background I have always had an interest in biomass energy and its ability to meet our energy needs and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels.

Having graduated from school, I completed my degree from University College Dublin based in the area of engineering technology which encompassed biomass energy and environmental engineering and its links to agriculture. Following my studies in biomass energy I decided to pursuit an MSc in Energy Management which I completed in Dublin Institute of Technology. This gave me a broad outlook of energy conversion technologies and the relevant legislation that is involved.

Since completing my MSc I have been in employment with an energy consultancy providing energy recommendations to clients, energy procurement services, energy surveys and also solar PV. I am delighted to return to the biomass energy area with forever fuels and believe it has huge potential to alleviate our dependence on fossil fuels.
