The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has announced that the Renewable Heat Premium Payments (RHPP) will be extended with a new budget of £25m.  As well as a £7m extension for the existing scheme also announced was £8m for a new competition for communities to apply for grants to encourage community groups to install renewable heating and £10m for a new social landlords competition.

Potential applicants will be able to pre-register with the Energy Savings Trust from Monday 2nd April.  For more information please visit the DECC website.
